The Rheinterrasse runs a broad international menu that ranges from steaks and fresh fish to classics for every taste. The offering is geared towards a mixed crowd dropping in after shopping, as well as guests planning a long evening. Lunch moves a little more briskly, while in the evening the house takes more time for relaxed indulgence by the water.

Terrace Above the River

The centrepiece is the large terrace set directly above the Rhine, opening up the view of passing freight ships and the Mannheim side of the river. On balmy summer evenings it is the most sought-after spot on the dining mile at the Rhein-Galerie. In cooler weather the dining room indoors also offers seats with a view of the water.

As part of the dining mile at the Rhein-Galerie, the Rheinterrasse connects directly to the shopping centre, making it an obvious stop after a stroll. Its central location in the city centre keeps it easy to reach, with parking available around the Galerie. On sunny weekends and in the warm season it pays to book a seat along the railing.
