Ludwigshafen districts

City Centre
The Rhein-Galerie, the Wilhelm Hack Museum and Berliner Platz — Ludwigshafen's centre on the Rhine.

South
The Parkinsel, the southern Rhine promenade and the German Film Festival.

North/Hemshof
A multicultural quarter around the Hemshof and the time-honoured Hemshof Festival.

Friesenheim
The Ebertpark, the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle and an established residential district in the north.

Oggersheim
The pilgrimage church, the Schiller House and the home of Helmut Kohl.

Oppau
The northern BASF works, the Rhine harbour and living industrial history in the north.

Edigheim
A quiet residential district with an old village core in the north.

Pfingstweide
A planned large-scale housing estate from the 1970s on the northern edge of the city.

Gartenstadt
A leafy residential estate in the south with the Niederfeld and plenty of greenery.

Maudach
A village-like district by the Maudacher Bruch in the south-west.

Mundenheim
An established district in the south with its own village core and close to BASF.

Rheingönheim
The Rheingönheim Wildlife Park and the Melm recreation area in the south.

Ruchheim
The westernmost district, with a village core and a winegrowing tradition.
